Based in Oamaru, Tyron oversees the Quarry and Refuse divisions at WCL, while also providing support to the Projects team.
His role focuses on keeping operations running smoothly across a diverse range of worksites and ensuring quality outcomes for every project.
Tyron’s background is rooted in heavy industry, with early experience on mobile and fixed asphalt plants across Australia.
He later transitioned into the mining sector before joining WCL, bringing a wealth of practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
For Tyron, the variety of work and the strong team culture at WCL are what make each day rewarding. No two days are the same, and he values the collaborative spirit that makes delivering high-quality outcomes possible.
Outside of work, Tyron enjoys a balancing life with a bit of sport – tossing a rugby ball in winter and hitting the golf course in summer. Always up for a challenge, he approaches both work and play with the same energy and enthusiasm.
