Born and raised in Oamaru, Grant is the Operations Manager for the Waitaki Road Maintenance Contract, bringing over 38 years of experience in the transport and contracting industry.

Eighteen of those years were spent self-employed, including time as a subcontractor for Whitestone. Having managed this contract previously, Grant joined Whitestone seeking a new challenge and was drawn by the strength of the team. His extensive background and practical knowledge make him a key leader in delivering quality outcomes.

What Grant enjoys most about his role is seeing the improvements their work brings, solving problems, and finding practical solutions. Hi is passionate about helping young people grow their knowledge – a way of giving back to an industry that has given so much to him.
