Based in Oamaru, Billy manages civil operations across Waitaki, South Canterbury, Otago, and the Clutha District, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Billy began his career with the Oamaru Borough Council before joining WCL when it was formed. Over the years, he has progressed through roles including Labourer, Foreman, Supervisor, Project Supervisor, Project Manager, and now Operations Manager.
He holds qualifications in Civil Construction Works – Highway Construction, Contract Management Level 5, Wastewater Treatment Site Operator Level 3, and an Asbestos Handling Certificate.
What Billy enjoys most is working with the people within WCL and engaging with clients to deliver quality outcomes.
Outside of work, Billy enjoys going fishing and spending time outdoors.
